konqueror file tips in directory tree pane

Is there a way to turn off the tooltips that pop up with the full path of the directory name in the directory tree pane of konqueror? I have tooltips turned off in the KDE control center and filetips turned off inn konqueror. Any way to turn off the directory tips?
