Encryption key problem

I have Ubuntu 5.10 on which I've installed KDE. I have two PGP keys for different email addresses. I can sign posts in Knode, but KMail won't allow me to use the keys! KGpg lists both keys but when I try to get Kmail to use them.

I create a key using KGpg but Kmail doesn't recognise it as a crypto backend. How do I fix this?
