Kexi requires the SHARED libpqxx.so library files.

hello
i am trying to install koffice.
while compiling i got an error for missing libpqxx.
i d/l it and installed it ( i have pg 8.0.4 )
then i got a configure error from koffice for missing shared library.
i recompiled libpqxx with the following configure:
./configure --enable-shared=yes --enable-static=no

but i still get the same error from koffice configure tool.
i installed libpqxx-2.5.5.

can someone help me fix this configure issue?
