Konqueror Modifications (Mime/Links)

Hello. I am a new member to kde-forum.org. I am playing around with the share/apps/*view /*.desktop links in KDE to customize the look and feel of Konqueror. I am modifying my sister's new Slackware machine to have media links which are usually in media:/ to be in system:/ aka computer/system. I was wondering how it would be possible to have the complete functionality of the application mimelinks in media:/ in system:/. I've tried copying file for file, but keep in mind that the modification which the main system:/ view needs is the Name entry. How would I go about putting say Cd-Rom with unmount/mount functionality as found in media:/ in the regular system:/ view? How would I go about modifing the System:/ application links?
