network file sharing

I used kde file sharing to share music with my wife's machine in SuSE 9.2. With 9.3 the mechanism is still there but it does not work. The error message tells me to set the fileshareset script to suid. This does not work. I also tried using the script from my 9.2 installation. No luck there, either. How can I get it to work? Can it be done from the console?[/SIZE]
