kxkb flags
Hello,
I have googled around and found others with the same problem, but no solution worked for me.
I am currently using FC2 (from where the problem stems -- this I know) with kde/kdm. I write in several languages and use the kde keyboard layout switcher applet to switch between the languages. The problem I have is that the flags aren't displayed and the background is grey in the panel applet. (Luckily, I can see the 2-letter code so that I know which layout is currently selected.)
Where are the flags (pictures) located? And how do I tell kde to find them?
Thanks in advance,
lxl

RE: kxkb flags
Make sure you check the option Show Country Flag in KDE Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout (Switching options tab). Shortcut: rightclick on kxkb icon in system tray -> Configure...
[Edit] Oh... and the flags are located under <kde base dir>/share/locale/<country code>/flag.png
On my SuSE, this is /opt/kde3/share/locale/...
