[kopete] Unable to bookmark a mu-conference room

Hi everyone,
I have 4 different Jabber clients on my desktop but love Kopete's minimalist style (at least how I've configured it). The problem I have with Kopete is that I can't figure out how to bookmark a mu-conference chat room like I have done when using the Gaim client.
I've tried entering it as a contact in the form: ourchat@conference.jabber.mycompany.com (where the conference room is our local jabber server and ourchat represents the conference room name) but to no avail. This syntax works fine for Gaim, what am I missing in Kopete to get a bookmark or contact name that represents the mu-conference room for my group?
