KDE internet Daemon

The description in the KDE Control Center is "An internet daemon that starts network services on demand" But what network services are these? And what they do? I want to incapacitate them but I am afraid that this can turn off my connection with the internet. Thanks for the help

That sounds like a description of inetd or xinetd.
Neither is a KDE program or service.

Maybe you have SuSE or another distribution that have system tools embedded in KDE control center.
