kmail recent addresses

hello,

I googled around and searched through forums but I'm not sure how to completely disable the recent addresses.
Is there any option in kmail which asks me - when writing to an address, which is not in my addressbook - whether I would like to add the address to my address or so on?
I didn't find anything... :(

thx in advance!

I think you can just right click the address input field and choose to disable text completion.

hmm, you could try to set the configuration key
"Show recent addresses in Addresses-dialog"
in kmailrc to false

Or clear the entry "Recent Addresses" and mark it as immutable
"Recent Addresses[$i]"

Hmm, I am afraid I am out of ideas.

You could ask on the kdepim-users list and get feedback from one of the developers there.
