Can't access windows shared folders

Hi,

Using Konqueror wverytime I try to access a windows shared folder I can't seem to connect to it.
For example, if I try to access smb://hostname/C$ I keep getting the username/password dialog. Even after keying in the right password, it keeps popping up.

I tried connecting to the shared folders using smbclient (command line) and it worked like a breeze.

what could the problem be?
