Any way to open objects with a single-click?

I'm a KDE newbie (and loving it). However, I can't seem to find in KDE one thing that I do like about Gnome--the ability to open items with a single click. It's not an earth-shattering deal, but it would be icing on the cake if there was a way to make this happen.

Thanks in advance,
Mark Taber :)

In the control center:

peripherals -> Mouse

There you'll see the option to set it to "Single click opens files and folders"

Single click is acutally the default setting unless your distributor modified the defaults or you chose double click in the setup wizard on first startup.
