Font encodig problem

Hi :-)

I have not got any answer in "administration" forum, so I am trying here...
---

I have two Debian installation: one Woody with KDE 2.2 and one Sarge with KDE 3.3.2.

The old KDE Control Center (KControl) ->Look&Feel -> Fonts and Regional -> country has possibility to choose font encoding for specific language and for UI fonts. For me it was very useful thing, for multilingual environment setting for various users. Regret, it seems, it is either hidden or removed in the new KDE.

How to get it back without downgrade? I have to say, I used Google for some evenings without reasonable effect...

Please, advise :-)
