SUSE/KDE on hp omnibook 6000

I have installed SUSE 9.2 on my omnibook 6000. When KDE loads I get a White Line 1 inch from the top of my screen thats about a 1/2 inch wide all the way across my screen what can I do to fix these keep in mind that I know very little about linux.

Very likely some misconfiguration of the X server.

You should be asking on either a SuSE support forum/mailinglist or one for general LInux questions.
