Redesign menus, please
What is the fascination with drop down menus?
When restoring icons to the panel along the bottom of my desktop, I could only install one icon at a time and then only after going through a series of drop down menus and choices.
It would be so much easier to have a table with radio buttons where one could pick/unpick which icons are to appear in the panel.
The same could be helpful for configuring system and user menus in the KDE start menu. A table showing options with radio buttons for picking/unpicking would make menu design so much quicker and easier. Perhaps putting everying under one feature would eliminate mistakes and even crashes.
I am not a programmer, just one who has too much time on his hands to think up tasks for others.
How 'bout it, programmers? Anyone else with ways to rethink how we design and use these programs?
Sounds interesting.
You could file a wish item on bugs.kde.org agains kicker for it if you are interested in having the respective developer know about it.
Cheers,
_
