KDE 3.4 - Konqueror very slow on forms

on filling up textareas on forms, wich are using a script to limit the max number of signs, Konqueror works very slow or hang up.
to check put, you can use thw page www.quoka.de - its a german 'mini market' publikation.
on my system Konqueror needs about 2 seconds for each letter i want to write in the textarea (other formfields are working in regular speed). Firefox (and KDE3.3 before) works normal.

on a'n other site, konqueror hang up after typing the first sign in the textarea.
have a lot of input
