Seeing double...

Does anyone know how to solve this problem:

In SuSE 10.2, when I start kontact and add an appointment, a window called "resource selection" pops up. It contains twice the entry "default korganizer resource". When I click OK the appointment appears twice (my agenda is doublebooked with the same appointment). Also TODO items appear twice.

I think I have the same problem that you have. I got double appointments when I save one.
I try to trace this with strace. I get the next output: QGDict::hashKeyString: Invalid null key
QGDict::hashKeyString: Invalid null key
korganizer: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: unknown protocol "".

This link does not work. I have he himself problem (I see double entrances in events, appointments,...), and I do not give with the solution. I use Kubuntu 7.04 with KDE 3.5.
