I have incoming message notification sounds turned off on my system, yet Kopete periodically still plays a sound on incoming messages. If I have my sound turned up loud, which I usually do because my DVD software is too quiet, the notification scares the crap out of me.

This looks like a bug. Notifications are turned off and they normally don't play. However, once or twice in any given chat session, the notification will play and give me a heart attack.

Does this sound like a bug to you?
