[konqueror] Hidden folders in left tree nav panel: fixed yet?

Folks:
I, like many others, would like the "show hidden folders" option to work not just in the right file list but also in the navigation panel on the left.

I see several bug reports on this at bugs.kde.org, for example numbers 15060 and 18334 of 2000, 2001 timeframe. Most are marked closed and fixed, yet at least as of konq 3.3.1 it still doesn't work.

Furthermore, those bug reports have comments from devs saying "this is the 10000th report" and "yes yes, we know -- check for duplicates first". OK, how do you check for duplicates -- search is kinda weak? And if you are going to the effort of writing that it's a duplicate how about refer to the original so we can check the actual status of the bug?

Anyhow -- is this fixed for anyone, is so what version? If not, is it still an active bug report? If it's still broken and not active, how do we file a bug report that doesn't get dismissed as a duplicate?

first of all, this is a user forum, not a developer <-> user forum ;)

Having that said, when bug reports are marked as duplicate, they point to the original bug report wich thay duplicated.
So closing a duplicate bug report is not a dead end in bugs.kde.org, you can follow the link to the corresponding bug report and post you comment there..
