KNotes usage

Hi all,
First of all: I use KDE at work by one year and I'm very happy with it! My compliments to all developers/contributors of it.
I'm trying to use KNotes, I create the sticky notes, but when I reboot my PC, the text of the notes is lost. There is a sort of "save" to enable? I found nothing in documentation nor in forums...
Thank you
Stefano Chiappa

Right-clicking on the title of the notes will pop-up a menu, where you could have the option to save them.
You could also just use the keyboard shortcut for saving.

It's "Save As" actually. And make sure you right-click on the title of the note. Right-clicking in the main part of the note only brings up the options for copy, cut, paste, etc.

I attached a screenshot of what I mean. I'm using Kubuntu 6.06 with KDE 3.5.3

As for the keyboard shortcut, there is no default. You have to set it yourself. Right-click on the KNote icon in the system tray and choose "Configure Shortcuts".

Thank you. Perhaps the version of KDE I have is too old, there is no save option, I'll try to upgrade it.
Thank you again
