[Kopete] Is there an API to access Kopete?

Hello,
I would like to use Kopete so send IM from my application.
Is there an API i can connect to Kopete?

I would preffer to hold the users DB within my application,
using the API to send a simple message (one direction, one time message), meannig, i need not to get reply.

would appriciate any help,

Not positive, please correct me if I'm wrong, but you might check to see if there's a dcop call to do that.

To see what functions are available use the dcop brower, kdcop, and look in the kopete section. (Kopete must be running.)

You can use the KIMProxy class http://developer.kde.org/documentation/l…ssKIMProxy.html
to talk to any application that implements the KIMIface interface.

This includes Kopete (KIMIface was born there) and a couple of other applications, like Konversation and the next version of the Licq KDE GUI.
