mouse gestures in konqueror - possible?

hello there, hope any hardcore konqueror hacker reads this :)
(or at least anyone :P)

well well, what im wondering is, if it is possible to navigate konqueror(web browsing), with mouse gestures.... I know there are "plugins" for mozilla/firefox that makes you navigate forward/backwards and so with the mouse.. I realize these plugins may not work with konqueror, but i wonder if any of you know if there such things for konqueror.... and if not, i suggest the konqueror developers realy should think about adding this feuture to the browser.. then it would realy own the "browser market" :)

KDE has already implemented mouse gestures. They're available not just to konqueror but to other apps, too. Take a look at KHotKeys in the KDE control center under Regional Settings & Accessibility (or something similar).

I find it not that easy to understand and configure (and gestures did not work for me) but maybe that's just me... in theory it seems to be *very* flexible which means it can be a very powerful feature. See if you can make something of it.

Here too! Finally! :-)

There are some global settings where the mouse gestures can be enabled. I've never been in that menu before... stupid me.

But it seems to work only with the middle or the right button (or others I don't have). I guess it's not so smart using the left button anyway (selecting text and dragging'n'dropping would probably become fragile or even impossible)...
