Cant connect to AIM service

Cant connect to AIM service

whenever i try to connect to the AIM network kopete crashes and gives me a code 11 error. If i dont sign on and just close the sign on window for AIM connection it says it was unable to connect using ICQ plugin. why would it be using ICQ if i was trying to use AIM?

ICQ and AIM both use the same protocol. I dont know how to fix this problem as of yet since Im having the same problem on .8 using kde 3.2.

damn, i can connect to every other service, just not AIM, which is the only one that i really need. just my luck :cry:

My personal recommendation is to revert to kopete 0.7.5. AIM works fine in that release.
