Kaffe plugin for Konqueror?

Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to make Kaffe 1.1.1 work in Konqueror 3.1.4? I'm using Mandrake 9.2, and Kaffe is included. I don't really want to download any of the big name JRE's over my slow internet connection.
