Any idea whats wrong? I recompiled kdemultimedia with xine, and then kdebase but still no success.

I have exactly the same problem on my maschine. I just re-install my gentoo on the system and compile the new KDE-3.3.0 Release which I used before.

But Konqueror show no previews for Video Files. All other previews works fine like befor. I actually have Portage 2.0.50-r11 (default-x86-2004.0, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.3.20040420-r1, 2.6.8-gentoo-r3) installed.

Have anyone information in which packages the kio_thumbnail located is?

Some more detailed discription:

In Konqueror upper menu--> View --> preview
the option video isn't availible

I know that this option must be there and it have to be enable to preview videos. Does anyone could help me to get this work?
