In the control panel I turned on power management and I set the screen saver to recognize power management. How ever after the set amount of time, it doesn't turn my monitor off. Anyone have any idea what I might not have set right?.

Its happened with me also but usually if i restart the Xserver the problem goes away.

That hasn't worked for me. I tried it a few times and no luck.
