Control Center

I completed a source install of KDE 3.1.93 today (well last night), and when I go in to Control Center, there is nothing. There are no items to the left, just the main panel telling me my version, user, host, system, release and machine.

I am running a Linux From Scratch system, and this is why I am installing from source (and I prefer compiling, but anyway) that and I didn't see any non-distro specific binarys.

Anyway, I installed:
arts-1.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking &&

kdelibs-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking --with-alsa --enable-fast-malloc=full

kdebase-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking --with-shadow

kdemultimedia-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking --with-arts-alsa

kdenetwork-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking

kdeadmin-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking --with-shadow

kdegames-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking

kdeutils-3.1.93
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde-3.2 --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking

/opt/kde-3.2 is linked to /opt/kde
/opt/kde/bin is in my path and /opt/kde/libs is in ld.so.conf and I ran ldconfig

What could I have missed or done in error?
