Is it possible to have Konsole automatically open up several Secure Shell connections to another machine? I typically open five sessions to a particular machine. I manually rename the session title for each, and I manually change the current directory on each as well. Is there a way to tell Konsole to open up those sessions, set the titles, and issue a change directory command on each?

The Sessions section of the online Konsole handbook says that "If you often have to log into remote machines, or always run a similar set of terminal applications, you can use Konsole's “Session” feature along with KDE's session management to automate a lot of this for you." I've walked through the process several times, but I can't seem to get it to work.

BTW: How do I install the handbook on my system? Nothing happens when I select it from the Konsole Help menu (I didn't install the operating system).

I'm using Konsole 1.6 (Using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" SUSE 10.1).

OK. I found the 'konsole' command and the parameter '-profile'. Now, instead of double-clicking on the konsole icon to startup the terminal sessions, I type the following: konsole -profile twdFalcon5. Falcon5 contains the definitions for multiple sessions. By editing the profile file I can set the title for each session. If the sessions are local I can set the directory (Cwd0, etc). Is there a way to set the directory for a system that I kssh to?
